Volunteer for Reed
Parents are a tremendous resource in the Reed community, adding their support to these areas of the college. Please click through the links below if you are interested in being a Reed parent volunteer.
Admission
- Identify and refer prospective students to Reed
- Provide counsel and insight as Reed parents for admitted students through participation in the Parent to Parent program
- Host or attend regional events for admitted students and their families
Volunteer for the Office of Admission
Career services
- Provide information on your organization or industry
- Send appropriate job or internship postings from your organization
- Provide networking opportunities, informational interviews, and/or mentoring for current students
Parent Council
- Participate in the Reed College Parents Fund with an annual contribution
- Provide guidance and ideas for furthering the relationship between the college and Reed parents
- Help identify and assist other Reed parents in volunteer service and participation in the Reed Fund
- Attend an annual fall meeting during Parent & Family Weekend
